Well, soon there will be a new type of mobile gaming platform that will take your 2D world and bump it up to Augmented-Reality. A kick starter project has started called, OggBoard. This mobile gaming and App platform aims to help developers create games that take augment-reality items with true interaction. I can see old boardgames have new life and even in vision clothing that can display gaming status. Keep an eye on this, it just may change the way you game!
